Hebrew transcription: from an audio or video file to text

SmartChat transcribes Hebrew audio and video files: upload a recording of a lecture, an interview, a phone call or a voice message, and get a Hebrew transcript with a speaker and a timestamp for every sentence. Search it, copy it or download it as a text file, and get a summary, decisions and tasks from the same recording.

Supported files

Common audio and video formats, including mp3, m4a, wav, ogg, aac, amr, mp4, mov and webm. The maximum file size is shown on the upload screen; for a large video, upload just its audio. The maximum length per recording depends on the plan.

What affects accuracy

Mostly the recording itself: a microphone close to the speakers, little background noise, and people not talking over each other. Names of people and companies, numbers and professional terms are where any engine slips most, so check them before you use the text.

Hebrew with English inside

SmartChat's interface, transcripts and summaries are in Hebrew; terms said in English inside a Hebrew sentence are kept as they were said.

Questions

Hebrew transcription:
what people ask.

Can I download the transcript?

Yes. From the meeting page you can copy the transcript or download it as a text file, with speakers and timestamps.

Does it separate speakers?

Yes. Every sentence gets a speaker and a timestamp. In a recording from a single microphone in a room, check the split before relying on it.

Can it transcribe WhatsApp voice messages?

Yes. Save the voice message as a file and upload it like any other recording.

How much does it cost?

Transcription is included in the meeting plans (not in the Studio plan), by monthly recording and upload hours. The live prices are on the pricing page.
